The series of books is something administrators would think useful.


Essential Elements are not a bad series, and used in conjunction with Smart Music, makes sense... Play along with computer, online grading, tracking, and you than can design your own exercises to go along with what's in the book. All plusses when talking to administrators.

I'm not really getting the idea that something is missing from EE. There may be some specific issues that pop up with individuals, but no text is going to cover everything.
It's the Indian, not the Arrow. - How you use it, not what it is.


Beyond what the school is doing, I often start my trumpet students with Walter Beeler Trumpet Method Book 1 in conjunction with the Getchell Etude books.
