I think it was just introduced this year, so probably few have tried it yet. I'd like to.... _________________ Dan Pearlman

I ordered one to try from Sweetwater. Unfortunately the clip-on portion will not fit securely on my Monette cornette, which has an oversized bell, so I had to return it without trying out the mic itself. It looks like a nice, lightweight unit, I wish it had fit. _________________ Dan Pearlman

Too bad, I was looking forward to your review, thanks for letting us know.

Could you please describe exactly why the clamp did not fit? A friend of mine is using it on his Monette P3, no problem. The clamp is supposed to work on saxophones as well! _________________ "Don't play like a trumpeter, play like a singer!" Andrea Giuffredi

My Monette Cornette has an even bigger (and differently shaped) bell than the P3. The back of the clip of the mic is contoured for a smooth fit on a trumpet or sax bell, but somehow the contour was a little off for the bell of the Cornette, (maybe the contour of the bell edge along with the size), caused it to not seat securely for me. It was a nice small and light piece of equipment. If your friend says it works on a Monette P3 that is a good sign. I'd encourage anyone to try it and report back here.
