I don't know how to post an image, however in all pictures of Uan, you will notice a unique looking mouthpiece. (Somebody could help me..post the picture of him in his wheelchair w/horn)..If I arranged with the family to duplicate that mouthpiece and it was available from a major mouthpiece shop...would anybody be interested in owning one?

According to an article in ITG Journal of June 2009 written by Peter Knudsvig, Uan says he played initially on a Bach 101/2 C, then he split his lip which took surgery and months to heal. When he started to play again he couldnt, so he bought the biggest piece he could find which was a bach 1 C.
He had some copies made by Callachio and he never played anything else according to him. So it is simply a bach 1 C

I have a duplicate of Mr. Rasey's mouthpiece it is deeper than a 1C it is an A depth it has a 1X rim like the older Bach 1 mouthpieces It needs a lot of power to play above the staff but can be accomplished . Found the design by chance
I do know that Mr. Calicchio did deepen it for Mr Rasey.
Hope this helps.
