Hi, it’s blues so you will have accidentals, b7, b3, etc.

Key of F major on the trumpet. Lee's arrangement of the form doesn't hew strictly to the original - they tack on the intro figure at the end of the form which is a Fmin/Bb7 vamp that gives it a minor vibe.

What does that term mean? Never heard of that. Or just a joke?

I - vi - IV - V, basically.

One, six, four, five

Ron's appellation almost certainly refers to its extensive use in pop songs.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_containing_the_I%E2%80%93V%E2%80%93vi%E2%80%93IV_progression

This list is far from complete. It's missing most of the pop (and doo-wop) songs that created the cliche -- Heart and Soul -- although it scores big time with Duke of Earl.

Take a peek at the "4 Chords" video by Axis of Awesome on youtube. Quite a hilarious take on it.
