Been working to nail down lead style. I do play lead n a community jazz band but my style needs to be better. In this link I hear time and style issues. Still, a step in the right direction from where I was. To get an idea of the volume level I was paying you have to turn your speakers up until the metronome is obnoxiously loud. I used the metronome on my iPhone and recorded the video on my iPhone.

Sounds great! I noticed the timing issue but I’m sure you can fix that. Something I suggest is following the contour of the line. Just the basic rule of crescendos and decrescendos. Give it that pop when it needs it!

I think the iPhone mic compresses dynamics. I promise you I started soft and increased volume all the way through.......
