Anyone have any experience with a King 5M mouthpiece? I recently bought a King Super 20 cornet and one came with it.

I'm assuming it's similar to a King 7M that I have for trumpet. In that case, it's a medium-shallow "C" shaped cup (like a Bach D cup perhaps?) with a backbore that seems larger than a Bach 10.

I like to use mine on occasion for a jazz/commercial sound that is colorful but not too bright.

It is definitely more shallow than a Bach 7C. I have a King 7K which is even shallower. I have been playing around the apartment on the 5M using my Silent Brass and like it so far. However, I plan to play it open when I go over to my Dad's this weekend. I'll know more at that point how it really feels/sounds.
