Hi everyone,
I want to visit the NYC Yamaha Atelier to have my Shew horn looked at and to try a few flugels - how does one arrange a visit to that place?
What is the procedure, those of you that have visited recently?
Thanks! _________________ Yamaha 8310Z trumpet

Hello! I'm actually the new artist relations representative working at the Yamaha Atelier in Manhattan. I just started here recently and there was a span of time after my predecessor left when there was not a specialist in NY, which is likely why you weren't able to get in touch. I apologize that it's been hard to reach us. If you'd like to set up an appointment, you can email me directly at tkmiecik@yamaha.com and I'll be happy to help!

Ed, I just spoke with Wayne Tanabe a few weeks ago. This sounds more like there's a "changing of the guard" in artist relations, not repair. _________________ James Becker

You're right - Wayne is still here (luckily for us)! _________________ Tom Kmiecik

Hi, TH community - just confirming that I did end up getting to visit the Yamaha Atelier yesterday. Tom is great to work with, and of course Wayne knows every little thing about Yamaha horns and a few simple adjustments had my Z trumpet playing better than ever.
I even bought a new flugelhorn - review will appear in a separate thread!
To those with questions about visiting the Atelier, I can enthusiastically recommend getting in touch with Tom, who made the whole process seamless.
Cheers. _________________ Yamaha 8310Z trumpet
