In my honest opinion, Trombone Shorty has one of the best jazz trumpet sounds in the game, as well as, some of the tastiest lines, eloquent phrasing, and one of the smoothest flows.
Sunrise is one of my favorite songs by him.

I had a chance to see him last Winter. I would say he's trying to appeal to a wider (non-jazz) audience, and so he makes choices that don't necessarily do a lot for me. But, as far as being a good trumpet player (and trombone player), he definitely is. _________________ - Keith |

His version of O Holy Night is the best for me. LOVE. IT. _________________ --Matt--
