Yesterday and today, began pushing air through the horn: a Capri cornet. Sold the stable last year when illness made it a prudent thing to do. Paid off Wifey's car. She is happy.

There's a few rattles and whirs that were formerly absent. But, everything seems roughly where I left it some years back. Not as high, or low, or mellifluous, or loud, or soft, or in tune mind you. But it is sill all in the same room as it were and not scattered over the North Forty someplace where hunting needles in haystacks is required.

In a month, I'll know more. It does feel so good to practice again.

Thank-you both for your kind words. Jeff, indeed, steady as she goes. Great photo by the way next to your name.

Welcome back to the mortal coil of trumpet! There's always room for one more.
