Hi Everyone, please forgive if I'm posting to the wrong forum. I'm looking to see if anyone has a transcription for Donald Byrd's rendition of 'I'm A Fool To Want You' from his Royal Flush LP? I can't stop listening to the way he plays it, so I figured why not try to learn it myself.

What a great rendition! I'm not a very strong player but have been trying to just figure it out by ear, and it's taken me a while to just make it half way through.
When I try to play it the way he does with a backing track I just can't seem to make it work. Not sure if it's a tempo or key issue, but I guess I'm just really showing my lack of fundamentals now! Hahaha! 🤣
I would have to say it's my favorite rendition of that song though...
