I recently finished a new piece for unaccompanied trumpet titled One Man Blues Band. It's a very fun piece to play that has the performer playing both a bass groove and a solo line. It's Bb blues from start to finish with a bunch of jazzy effects throughout (my favorite being the "Yosemite-Sam-being-hit-with-a-frying-pan" effect at :39). Great for recitals, educational outreach situations or those family gatherings where you're bombarded with requests to "play something!". ; ) Commissioned by Michael Blutman.

Here is a video of me playing it down along with more info about the piece.

Check it out!

Cool piece! Where did you get the print/painting in the background of the trumpet/treble clef? I had a friend who had a tattoo like this once but haven't seen the print before.

Oh, cool! It's a canvas print of a logo I had made through 99 designs.
