Thanks for posting this....what a sound. Obviously this is due to Calebs playing but there is definitely a different sound profile at work here with this instrument that is really something. |

Truly an amazing tone.... Has anyone played the Possegger Flupy? I'd love to read your impressions of it!

Not the flupy, but I've owned 2 of his trumpets (1 nytc custom, and my current horn which is modular, based around a bronze meinlschmidt valve block). They're incredible. Build quality is excellent, modular design is very smart.
Very big, broad and dense sound, slotting and pitch are very defined and easy. Its not a super light horn, but still nicely responsive and flexible. Can't say enough good things about his designs.
Flupy and rotary piccolo are next after a bit of saving... Though that said they're impressive bang for your buck. |

Been looking at the horns for some now. Note that the Flupy in the video is the flugel Flupy. There are also piston and rotary trumpet Flupys (trupys?) on the Possegger website. Wonder how they sound. _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence

Please send the link. All I can find on the website is the Flupy Flugelhorn...
