Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking for a while and finally decided I should join. I was messing around with one of those plastic trumpets for a couple of months but now I have got a real one and it is a huge difference. Looking forward to taking part here.

Regards,

Paul

Welcome!

Just an FYI, this particular forum gets a lot less traffic than other forums, especially the “Horns”, “Fundamentals”, “Pedagogy”, etc. sections. You may see more of interest to you in those areas.

Again, welcome!

True that, but this is the appropriate forum for your post. Welcome.

You’re right; the second I saw that you had commented, I thought to myself “oh yeah.....that’s true, this IS the correct spot to introduce yourself.....”

Brad,

I meant no offense to you.

One of my pet peeves are the people who start a thread saying “I know this belongs in the lounge, but the horns forum get more looks...”

Not that anyone cares about my pet peeves.

LittleRusty,

I absolutely did NOT take any offense, I meant that as soon as you mentioned that, I realized that this IS the correct forum for introductions! I only mentioned it so that hopefully a new member would not be discouraged, or think that TH is an unfriendly place because he might not receive many comments to his thread.

Thank you for the kind welcome. Sadly I am Canadian so I am not celebrating Thanksgiving today.

Every day with a trumpet in hand is a great day! Looking forward to your perspective in future posts!

Kindest regards,

Mike
