Any advice on networking myself? I would like to get myself out there as classical trumpet player

Sure. Go to/join as many classically oriented ensembles as you can and meet as many people as you can. Simple - and time consuming.

Be friendly and approachable and not pushy. A little self-confidence is O.K. but not aggressive. And be able to PLAY.
