Hi...can anyone help me determine if this Dynasty I trumpet(?) stamped 1710 is anything of value over $100? I'm having a hard time finding anything about these and their value. I have it listed on eBay and want to ensure I don't let it go for far less than it's value. Here are the photos and the eBay listing:

I hope this is okay. I couldn't figure out a way to post photos directly into this forum. [/img]

That's a DEG Dynasty II Soprano Bugle in G, probably made in the late 70's.

In better condition those can pull $150-200 from those who marched drum and bugle corps back in the day and are looking for a nostalgia piece, or if they end up playing in an alumni corps where a G instrument is called for.

$100 might be optimistic given the apparent condition of this unit.

This.

Also, since you might not know, most trumpets are in Bb. If you see a concert band or a marching band (one that’s not one of the few drum and bugle corps that use a G bugle) they’re all playing Bb trumpets. So, unfortunately, a G bugle is not very useful for most brass players.
