The Montecito International Music Festival will add an exciting Brass Program to this summers festival!!!
July 24th - Aug 2
La Sierra University, Riverside California

The Montecito music festival has been in existence for 10 years, and this summer will feature world famous special guests of all instruments; (seen at the link below)

Check out the BRASS poster here!

Tim Morrison will be our trumpet/conducting special guest and participants will get to play chamber music, brass ensemble, and participate in a masterclass given by Tim Morrison!

Mr. Morrison has also agreed to make some special supplementary times for private lessons available, in addition to his class and coaching.

In addition the festival participants will receive 3 lessons with myself (Ryan Darke), Brass Chamber Music, and many other special guest masterclasses with out other special guest brass artists.

Bill Booth - Trombone
James Thatcher - Horn
Doug Tornquist - Tuba

In addition to our wonderful resident faculty! (see links/poster)

There will be warm-up classes, performance psychology classes, Alexander Technique, and much more!

There are fellowships, half fellowships, and need based scholarship awards available! This festival provides Housing, Food, and all resident faculty lessons and coaching. Or if you are local you can commute in and have a lower tuition rate.

Please apply early for best scholarship consideration! Two recordings of contrasting style will suffice, and it would be best if received by March 1st though later submission will be accepted.
