Is there a tutorial somewhere on using the forum - I was just tying to insert a photo. I see the Img button; when I hit that button is see Insert image: (alt+p) - If I copy and paste an image, it doesn't work. _________________ GaryF

If I'm not mistaking, you have o use a third party-hosting site and you must use that URL. I don't mess with it. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

Hi there,
I just joined yesterday for help with a trumpet I picked up for my husband and son, and am also bamboozled by how to attach photos. Can't do it.
OK so need to use a URL but the only photos are on my computer. Seller's photos aren't useful and miss most of the detail, and I can't work out how to use the URL either.
I must be getting old and unable to learn new things. |

It would be nice if someone would write this up in a sticky thread that others can add their details.
It seems a lot of people find this difficult. So if it is age related, there must be a lot of us old people on here. |

This is definitely clear and concise. I was thinking more about making it sticky so it would be easy to find.
But then the question is where to make it sticky and will the person stumble across it. |

Duh. They search the forum by using the non forum search function aka google! It always makes me facepalm super hard when people tell other members to search the forum using google, search topic + trumpetherald = results; rather than anyone ever suggesting the search function here. Perhaps another sticky? Maybe a dedicated forum for HOW TO stickies? _________________ (List horns here) |

I am one who suggests google. The reason is that the form’s search function is very primitive, some say useless. |
