I currently play a Sonare C and play mostly orchestral music. I also have the Stomvi Elite D/Eb and I love that horn so I am wondering if I would like the Stomvi Elite C as much as the D/Eb. I have an opportunity to get the Elite C so I am looking for opinions from people who are familiar with the Sonare C vs the Stomvi Elite C. Any information would be appreciated. |

I can't speak for the Stomvi, but I was the quality control tester for Sonare' trumpets during the five years they imported the German made Sonare' trumpets.
The base trumpet was a B&S with an exclusive Blackburn leadpipe, MicroLok tm valve guides and cryogenic stress relief. This combination would closely compare to a Bach C180L239 plus these value added features.
So you can draw whatever conclusions you like from this information.
Best of luck in your decision. _________________ James Becker
