Don’t we get tired of big band charts always featuring some sax player? Well, speaking for myself, the answer is YES!
Announcing several new charts arranged by Gordon Goodwin, Michael Abene, Wally Minko and Chris Walden designed to feature a trumpet player.
If you go to this link you’ll see that I’ve had several of my tunes arranged for big band with a trumpet player out front.
There are sound clips for you to preview these charts by a band that includes Wayne Bergeron on lead trumpet, Dan Fornero on second (and some lead) trumpet, Dan Higgins on alto sax, Bob Sheppard on tenor sax, and Peter Erskine on drums, just to mention a few of the stellar players.
Boptism Music is now offering these charts the good old-fashioned way: we print them and send you folded and/or taped parts (we use that nice surgical tape, not crappy scotch tape) on hefty parts stock and comb-bound 12" x 18" scores also on nice, substantial paper. We never go halfway in our presentation and these charts are no exception.
So, again, take a look at our new big band charts at this link and listen to some sound clips. If you’re not in the market for big band charts, at least stop by and give some of them a listen and give us a full report here.
Thanks everybody!
Oh, and if you should wish to purchase a chart, use the coupon code TH+Boptism and get 20% off. Actually, that will get you 20% off anything at boptism.com . . . this is good for one week.
Thanks again, everybody! _________________ Puttin’ On The Ritz |
