Hi Everyone,
Does anybody have any experience using or even just looking at one of these cases?
They look similar to a MB double but have a carbon fibre shell and no cordura covering. Very nice looking case!
I am interested in any info on how strong the shell is etc

https://www.virtuosityboston.com/carbon-fiber-double-trumpet-case.html

Thanks Everyone!

Yes... I purchased one directly from Edwards. I have found it to be very sturdy, compact, well padded, of high quality and beautiful. It weighs right at 5 lbs empty. I carry a Getzen Genesis and an Eterna in mine. If you carry two horns there is only room in the case for two mouthpieces in the included pouch and a bottle of valve oil. I have found there to be few real carbon fiber cases on the market and the are about triple the price of this one at $360. In my opinion, it's a real value.
Note: The Edwards logo is in the clearcoat finish so it is not removeable. I have no issue with that. Also, cornets will not fit. I hope this helps.

This thread has some info from both Brett, the designer of the case, and Adam Getzen.

Just wanted to clarify I did not design the Edwards 3K case. They are made for us by one of our distributors. I am working on a new, wood shell Edwards single case that will come in at a more appealing price point. The carbon fiber cases are beautiful, but not everyone can swing that price.

Piggybacking on an old thread: would a regular rotary Bb fit in the Edwards case?

I don't think a rotary trumpet will fit unless you had it modified in a major way. A B flat or a C will fit but cornets will not. I don't see it working due to the width of a rotary. There is no room for anything else but two traditional designed trumpets and a mouthpiece pouch.
