This one is an embarrassment of riches. Erika Lewis is back. Plus there's two banjo players. Really cool songs in this video too.

Says "video unavailable."

Shaye put up a post on Facebook Friday that said Friday night would be Erika's last time singing with them "for a while."

Love her voice, but can't complain about TS in her absence, either.

Click on "Link" below the image. That still works for me.

I like the addition of the sax. Nice period sound he has.

Was visiting New Orleans with the Mrs. and another couple back in March during spring break and came across these folks while strolling through the French Quarter. I had never heard of them before, but realized pretty quick I was witnessing something world class. They were just parked out in the middle of the street during lunchtime. Definitely the best we heard in our short visit there--and we heard a lot. What was also striking was their appearance. Dolly Parton once said that "it cost a lot to look so cheap". And my thought with Tuba Skinny was that it took a lot of thought to dress like a bunch of bums. Classic!

N.O. is incredible. Along your lines of the unexpected, I and my GF were going from one major venue to another at the N.O. Jazz Festival and crossed paths with a lessor venue at an outdoor kiosk but the performers were blowing their butts off to practically no one .

I said to my GF, "Hear those guys?" Referring to the music business, I said, "I don't know if anybody will ever hear them, but they are world class. Turned out to be youthful Wynton and Branford Marsalis!
