Thought this might be of some interest to some of you.
I recently purchased a set of #21 through #30 numbered drill bits through Menard's. Received it today. Each bit is clearly labeled, and I checked a couple mouthpieces on-hand that I know their throat size, and everything was perfect.
The set cost me $8.99 plus another 2.80+2.76+0.98 for shipping and handling fees. Total cost was $15.53, which I thought was very reasonable.

Menard’s SKU #: 2525558

Performax® #21 - #30 Black Oxide Wire Gauge Drill Bit Set - 10 Piece

Gauge pins work just as well, and won't scratch!

Thanks, Stephen.
Can you point me towards a pin gauge set that covers #20-30 that won't cost me over $20?

Frost makes a throat guage tool.

Though it might be cheaper to just buy the hardware.
