Been playing a Curry 7TC on my rotary and a GR 65SZ on the Bach, both with excellent results. Just started to notice that for me the GR seems to be more open and seems to slot slightly better than the Curry.
Tending to the gearhead dark side from time to time I started wondering if the GR 65 FD (or another GR deep cup) would be more open than the Curry while maintaining the almost flugel-like sound on the rotary horn.
Ideas anyone? Thanks! _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence - Curry 7TC

I would expect the GR FD cup to be closer to a Curry TF |

Is it really? I find the GR website not terribly clear as far as the details of the mps go, so you could be right. Will wait and see if others come up with more comments. Thanks. _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence - Curry 7TC
