Avishai Cohen came to the SF Bay Area and I got to do the meet and greet before the show. What an incredibly nice human being! He spent time with everyone who wanted to talk with him, even after the show Avishai hung around in the lobby and spoke with everybody. It was a bonus to see him spend some extra time with a very young (middle school) trumpet player just talking and not waiting for questions but rather asking the young kid a bunch of questions. Talk about inspiring the youth.
The show was incredible! And even with Avishai having switched to a Monette trumpet, he still sounded like Avishai! The band also sounded incredible!
