hallo,
anybody owning a ADAMS A5 is willing to post a picture of the horn from the bottom ?
I'd like to see how the first slide is positioned (distance) versus the bell bow
are they closer than slide 3 vs leadpipe ?
I hope I've been cleat ... with my english .. sorry for that !

I think that gets the slide saddle closer to your left thumb, no? _________________ veery715

I was only able to get a quick look at the bell and 1st valve casing.
It looks like the intent of the design is to have the bell connect with the valve casing with little or no 'elbow' needed where they join.
That tubing wrap might have been chosen for its 'sound' properties, but it could also affect the player's hand, and the thumb position on the 1st valve hook. If the angle of how the thumb presses against the hook applies any 'twisting torque' on the 1st slide tubing, that might affect how smoothly the slide operates.
