Hi guys,
Looking for something to replace the standard cornet receiver mouthpiece that came years ago with my Stomvi picc. This is a 7C. I used to have a Schilke 14A4X (and also think I trine an 11AX) but found it very restrictive. Sold off most of my gear when I retired and just kept the picc and my Schilke B1 on which I use a Schilke 16 for all types of playing.
All (affordable!) suggestions welcome
thanks,
Stu |

Curry 3P.. an excellent choice and not so shallow .. "medium shallow"
I have always found the Schilke __AX to be much too shallow and tight. Combine that with the very soft "bite" of a Schilke mouthpiece, thus for me not a good fit.
good luck _________________ Freelance Performer/Educator

I alternate among a Schilke 14B4x (not "A") and Curry 5P and 7P. Started on the Schilke ages ago but really like the Curry mpcs and the 5P is currently the one in the case that I use most. _________________ "After silence, that which best expresses the inexpressible, is music" - Aldous Huxley |
