I'm having an issue with lower lip puffiness.
I play a little off center (to my right because of teeth structure/crossbite).
My lower lip on my right side will puff up / swell after a while and then things start to shut down and I lose control/range/etc.
Can puffiness/swelling be a function of rim size or rim diameter or cup depth or is it strictly a function of excess pressure?

In most embouchures the pressure is localised on the top lip, not the bottom, but it could be due to your dental formation some pressure is being focussed there. You could experiment a little with slightly changing the angle the horn/mouthpiece makes with your face, up down, right left etc. It may relieve that pressure. It is less likely that changing mouthpiece diameter or rim shape would help but I wouldn't rule it out. Something that avoids that part of the lip being trapped against the teeth so much. Just some thoughts, hope something helps. Good luck.
