Good morning, my friends, I would like to help me make a decision on my purchase of a trumpet. I am a beginner level and my options are:
1 conn 22b of the year 1956
2 besson 609
3 yamaha 2320 or 2035
4 international conn
5 getzen 300
6 conn director elkhart

Could you tell me which option is the best and the reason why?
the store where I want to buy is this: https: //www.musicgoround.com/products/bitc/trumpets
I have $ 300, if you can enter the page there are more options to help me choose a good option.
I greatly appreciate your opinions.

The getzen will be built like iron, but it will sound like a trumpet. I would choose or at least take a serious look at a Getzen.

Getzen is also the only one with a lifetime warranty on the valves.

The Getzen would be my first choice. It is a very well made trumpet. The listing says that it is in very good playable condition, so you shouldn't need to spend money on repairs. Good luck!

If Getzen is in good condition grab it , sold horns with the best valves in the market.

Which of the trumpets did you buy and how do you like it? Getzen 300 is in my opinion, the best choice. Have owed many trumpets and I like the Getzen trumpet/cornets the best.

Conn 22B. Great sound. Great valves. Very responsive. It will spoil you forever.

From the horns currently on that website I´d go for the Olds Ambassador. Great horns and you´ll have some money left.
From your list: 1956 Conn 22B if in good condition, or else the Getzen.

The Conn 22B is a pro horn, the rest are okee trumpets

If the Conn 22B is in a good condition it could be the last trumpet you'll ever buy...

The Jupiter "Carnegie" is an "intermediate" horn that, in my opinion, outplays many pro horns........and it is inexpensively bought used....

He said he is a beginner, I doubt that he knows, most beginners don’t.

Go with the Getzen. You can’t go wrong and it would easy to trade up to something else or sell.

I have owned 5 out of the 6 trumpets on your list...although my Conn 22B was a much older model.

Currently, I own several Getzens trumpets and cornets.

I have Eterna Severinsens, Capris, and 300s.

IMHO, There is no question that the Getzen 300 is one of the best playing horns ever.

In fact, I have played many gigs with a Getzen 300 model.

I also have an early Fullerton Olds Ambassador trumpet( the same parts and specs as the Los Angeles models with a pinky ring) that plays amazing....but the Getzen slots a bit tighter.

Good luck.
