Just wanted to ask what is in the videos that Lynn made, what topics he talks about, what advice he gives (I don't need his advice, just what his advice is about. I.E. giving advice on embouchure). I just want to make sure that it is right for me and that I would feel good about this purchase.

Several fundamental concepts:

1. Discussion on how the protocol requires a shift away from conventional thinking regarding approach to upper register.

2. How to form protocol embouchure

3. Proper use of air, generating compression

Beyond that, lots of good advice on playing in general.

Well worth the cost in my opinion.

I am close to pulling the trigger on this course. Anyone else have feedback before I do?

PM Lynn: TH username lynn9544

There was a long thread but it degenerated and was pulled.

Nick Drozdoff did a nice presentation:

Lynn suggest getting a small v cup mouthpiece to practice on. His mouthpieces are great for this and I also happen to use the Marcinkiewicz Claude Gordon Personal mouthpiece which is also a v cup.

For RANGE, you want to play the smallest diameter piece that you can (and still make music ... not "screech")

Lynn unfurls his lips (naturally) as do I ... although my lips are most smaller.

Of course he talks about compression (which is what most people don't get or understand) when it comes to range.
