I've recently switched to La Tromba T2 oil. I'm very happy with how it works on my horns and I like the extended needle for more precise oiling but...what's up with the caps? If you don't "sweet talk" it into the exact right position, you chance oil leaking out.

And even then the wrong bump or jostle and your oil had drained out.

Any suggested fixes other than transferring the oil to a bottle with a cap that actually completely seals?

Thanks!

I now have two La Tromba bottles where the caps have fractured, nearly splitting in two. If I don't keep them upright they will pour out. My situation is a bit complicated since I use a gig bag and as such, the bottle may see a bit more abuse than others. But I've never had any other brand's valve oil caps come apart before. I really like the oil but this is a bit of a drag.

I started using this about 6 months ago and ended up really liking it. HOWEVER...Dillon's raised the price to $10.25 per bottle for the #2 oil. I think I'll find another oil real soon!!! That pricing is ridiculous!
