Just saw the entire Ring last week, ending last night.
Huge respect to the singers, production team, and of course the Met Opera orchestra. What a sound, and what a journey they took us all on.
I was a little worried about our seats - 6th row orchestra, far stage left - but it was amazing to be so close, and fun to be right in front of the brass.
I know some of the Met Opera folks post here occasionally and just wanted to give a heartfelt thanks for a truly memorable week. |

I was privileged to see Gotterdammerung a few years ago at the premier performance of the version that had the "machine" set. It's definitely something to experience! Congrats on getting to see it live!

That is amazing. Seeing the entire Ring cycle live is a once in a lifetime experience. I would love to be able to do it some day.
This reminds me, I haven't seen an opera in way too long...
