Just saw the entire Ring last week, ending last night.
Huge respect to the singers, production team, and of course the Met Opera orchestra. What a sound, and what a journey they took us all on.
I was a little worried about our seats - 6th row orchestra, far stage left - but it was amazing to be so close, and fun to be right in front of the brass.
I know some of the Met Opera folks post here occasionally and just wanted to give a heartfelt thanks for a truly memorable week. |

I was privileged to see Gotterdammerung a few years ago at the premier performance of the version that had the "machine" set. It's definitely something to experience! Congrats on getting to see it live! _________________ --Matt--

That is amazing. Seeing the entire Ring cycle live is a once in a lifetime experience. I would love to be able to do it some day.
This reminds me, I haven't seen an opera in way too long... _________________ Yamaha 8310Z trumpet
