With this performance Paul is celebrating 40 years as a member of the Sydney Symphony! Recorded early May 2019. He's the Associate Principal Tpt of the SSO.

The Lovelock concerto was written for the late John Robertson, the flamboyant principal Trumpet of the SSO from the 1940s to the early 70s. As a young boy Paul Goodchild heard him perform and it’s Robertson’s sound he hears in his head every time he plays. |
