Doc Severinsen and Henry Mancini "Brass on Ivory" - Put two music icons to work on a collaborative easy-listening production such as this, and you're bound to come up with a timeless classic. Just listening to musical genius on a high-end audio system is an experience onto itself. Highly recommended.

I got that album when it first came out. Amazing musicianship.

Great album, they're a bit optimistic on the price - lol.
They also did Brass, Ivory and Strings.

I had this on 33 1/3 and literally wore it out. All the tracks on it are wonderful, but the one that still sings in my head is "Soldier in the Rain." Now, I want to buy a flugelhorn, late in life, just to have a go at how that melody sounds on flugel. It was a magical album.
