Hi everyone,
I'm new here and so I want to write this post to introduce myself.

I am an amateur trumpet player with two and a half years experience.
Since I didn't even know how to read music, I invented a tool to speed up the memory of the fingering while reading the score.
In this way I'm writing a complete new method together with my trumpet teacher that will be released soon.

You can visit my website for more information https://www.trumpeteasynotes.com/ or my instagram if you prefer.

Greetings to all

If I may ask, how is this complicated method of communicating fingerings better than putting the fingerings above or below the notes?

I see a huge learning curve to learn to read music notation with the embedded fingerings just to relearn to read standard music notation a few days or weeks later after the fingerings are ingrained in memory.

Reminds me of the books I use to teach piano to little kids - they have the note name printed in the notehead.

Though I have to say that is an odd way to notate Amazing Grace, beginning on a downbeat (instead of a pickup).

This. I don’t see this as an improvement over the conventional method of simple memorization, in fact, this seems to me to be overly complicated, and not especially easy to read.

OP: There’s nothing wrong with being inventive and creative, but I think this is trying to “re-invent the wheel.” I certainly would not try this with my beginning students.
