|
|
I've just posted a free brass pedagogy resource that takes an objective look at brass embouchure technique and discusses some pedagogical implications to what we know about embouchure form and function. For examples I used photographs and video recordings of many different players' embouchures, collected in a couple of research projects I conducted. My goal is that a teacher who reads through it will come away with the tools necessary to make informed decisions about how to best teach embouchure technique and how to help students fix playing problems.
