If it’s strictly for appearance, don’t forget that if you change buttons you may also change your valve alignment, it might not be worth the trade off.

Years ago I did the “pimp my horn” stuff, IMO when it’s just for appearances it’s usually a bad idea. I think form needs to follow function, and structural changes for appearance sake don’t usually work very well.
