Hey all,

I think many of you know I didn’t receive tenure in the Indianapolis Symphony for the 2014-2015 season. It was a tough time in my life, as I’m sure many people can imagine.

I made a podcast episode about the lessons I learned over the new few years that have changed my perspective dramatically, and I thought people might be interested in hearing my thoughts!

It's my pleasure, I'm really happy others can possibly learn from my hardship!

Ryan - enjoyed your podcast and I am happy that things worked out for you.

If you don't mind a question - after your meeting which indicated that you might not get tenure, did you ask specific questions to the MD or other musicians about what you might change about your playing? Were there any follow-up sessions to that initial meeting? That whole process seems very fishy.
