Here is the fantastic Selina Ott playing the Jolivet Sonatina for trumpet, piano and strings:
https://www1.wdr.de/mediathek/video/klangkoerper/sinfonieorchester/video-andre-jolivet----concertino-fuer-trompete-streicher-und-klavier-100.html

Her playing looks as effortless as me playing a low C.

I hope this is accessible outside Germany.

If not, there´s a short excerpt on Facebook:

Great performance! Thanks for the link. I wasn’t following her, but now I am.
It’s definitely a fun piece to play with orchestra.

Great piece and performance by Ms. Ott. She recently won one of the major European competitions, I watched her outplay a stack of hotshot male performers on very physical literature, including Jolivet No 2. Very impressive indeed.

Thanks for this. Another rising interesting trumpet player on my list to follow.

She certainly is distinctive in her approach, very direct. Will be listening with great interest.

I heard her play Solo du Concours for Reinhold in his studio at age 16, several years ago, and it is by far the best I have ever heard that piece, of anybody of any age.
