Anyone have any good ideas for a small pouch/case for their piccolo trumpet leadpipe? I play a P5-4 and have the stock Bb pipe as well as the Schilke A pipe. I may need to use both on an upcoming gig but don’t have a good place in my case for that extra pipe.

Thank you!

Adam

I use leather fountain pen cases. I add a small velcro patch to keep them closed. Try Amazon or eBay.

Messina Covers makes a nice zippered and padded pouch - here's one picutred on eBay

Thank you both!

Now how about Valve Slides? I've typically used multiple mouthpiece pouch holders and cut the dividers a bit to make the slides fit. Is there a better way?

I use this as well. Have a matching mouthpiece case, both in dark green.

I use the Osmun piccolo leadpipe case. It's not too expensive, and works like a charm.

I keep my extra pipe in my leather specialties quad mouthpiece pouch. Haven't given it any thought beyond that.

Wow, I love threads where I find out about stuff I never knew I needed! I will definitely get one of those Great Leather pouches. I have used their mouthpiece pouches for a few years and just love them.

The Messina one looks nice and is cheap, but I don't like the zipper on it, as I'm sure I would end scratching up some horn with it.

I'm also curious about slide storage and transport. I have an old pouch from Larry Black that I use. Is there anything newer out there?

Agreed, I brought the Messina, but am also worried about the zipper scratching a horn. I'll likely pick up one of these leather ones. Thank you all for the suggestions! Might anyone have ideas for valve slides?

I would think a leather cigar case for 2 or 3 cigars would work for the leadpipes. For the extra slide on my D/Eb, I use the semi hard case I bought at Best Buy for my Garmin GPS. Works perfectly.
