I'm looking to make a significant switch in my mouthpiece profile, and I have a very specific idea about what I want. Are there any manufacturers that will talk on the phone or skype and make a suggestion or two? |

Wedge, Pickett, Austin Custom Brass will certainly talk to you on the phone. It's likely that many other manufacturers will as well. _________________ Pat Shaner

Second the Reeves suggestion.
I've also had good luck with Derek at Legends Brass.
As an afterthought, so many makers are willing to discuss your needs, maybe you should reverse the process. That is, decide what you want, first, and contact that maker. If you're happy, fine. If not, move on. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

Also Schilke and Monette (yes, Monette!) in my experience.

James R. New will also talk to you and work with you. He was previously the mouthpiece maker at Kanstul.
I originally got his name from Lou Finch.
