If you plug the cable from the mic, or a cable from the headphone jack, into a digital recorder, a computer, or a tape deck, you can certainly record. The silent brass device itself has no recording functionality. _________________ Yamaha YTR6345HGS Bb

Someone around here mentioned that the 'mic' uses an 'odd' voltage for its phantom power so direct from the mute/mic might not work (haven't tried it though) ... Sooo... as mentioned just plug the 'headphone out' into your recording device... That works just fine. _________________ MH |

Yes you can! The question is: do you really want to? The sound is not thát great. Although the effects that you can add are nice.
Back when I bought it, they actually sold a clip-on microphone so that you could record whatever came out of the silent brass box. |
