Hey, I saw that Google released a 12.3" tablet for only $799. I love my Pixel phone... Has anyone tried this tablet yet? Seems like it would be pretty sweet for music reading and is significantly cheaper than the equivalent Apple product. _________________ Yamaha 8310Z trumpet

Does it have a pencil? When I was using my iPad I found marking up difficult since one’s finger isn’t a precision pointing device and it covers what one wants to mark up. |

That's one of the reasons I bought the Samsung 10" tablet (S3?). It came with a pen, which is awesome for marking up scores.
Looks like the Pixel charges you $100 for the pen. Yikes. Nickels and dimes, nickels and dimes... _________________ Yamaha 8310Z trumpet

I bought a very cheap pencil for my iPad Pro. Works great. I use it to mark my music in ForScore. _________________ Music is a fire in your belly, fighting to get out. You'd better put a horn in the way before someone gets hurt. |

The Apple Pencil is around $100. Beware ! There is an "old generation" which I have for my original iPad Pro, and a new generation of iPad Pro's and matching Apply Pencils. Be sure they go together !
I also bought a cheaper ($50 ?) wireless pen that also uses bluetooth, for use with Forscore on an iPad Air. It works, but it not as precise as the Apple Pencil. _________________ ~'77 DEG Dynasty II Soprano Bugle in G
