|
|
Hola!
Recently was given this interesting little horn. It's labeled BOSTON MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS and is playing in the key of C...low C# is super sharp as is the low Eb...blows in tune from the G in the staff up to C above and comes with a REIDS COMFO RIM 14 Mouthpiece...
My only guess is that it is an old Eb cornet with a C crook. Anyone have info on this horn? It's pretty cool and a little work would make it a fun piece.
Thanks!

That is pretty cool. Is there a serial on it? Here is my 1883 Eb from them.

Yours looks WAY more legit than mine...the weird right-angle pipe with tuning slide going into the third valve is a significant amount of length on mine!
Makes me think it was supposed to be a tiny C or D, not an Eb...
