Does anyone know the story behind Anglund mouthpieces made in Chicago? I bought an old F Besson Trumpet that came with one. It's also marked, "BB".

I found that he lived in Chicago probably until 1955, when he moved to West Palm Beach, FL, and ran a hardware store until he died from a stroke in 1960. Seems like an odd way for a professional musician to end his career. I wonder how long he kept making mouthpieces? Mine looks like a 1940s design. _________________ BrassHistory.net
