Once in a while, there are questions about what mouthpieces Schilke copied from a player's model and those made for a particular player.
Here is a listing of those particular mouthpieces.

Frank Lisanti was my high school private teacher but he was not using the 13B at that time. I tried one and couldn't play it. Peter Bond of the Met Orchestra also studied for a very brief time with Lisanti.
I used a 14C2 for a time and the description is quite accurate. I found an 18 to be a fine mouthpiece, but I did not need to play something that size.
I do have a model 9. It is more like an old Bach 5B than a 10 1/2C.
I assumed the 12 was made for Don Jacoby. It was actually made for long-time Chicago player Joe Summerhill.

Joe Summerhill, he worked part time at the Schilke shop on Wabash when I was there. He got me on a Jewish band (Arnie Miller) and we played many gigs together. He was always experimenting, I recall him trying various Calicchio leadpipes on Benge trumpets. He had a million vaudeville one-liners.

Ed, Arnie Miller was my composition teacher at Sherwood down on 11th and Michigan.
He did tell some funny stories and did give us good ideas on how to compose.
