I just acquired a very good condition Bach strad 37* lightweight from a trade. I did not know these existed, is there any worth for them? I’m going to sell it, but for how much? Suggestions? _________________ Karlos A. Elizondo

Like all used Strads, it ranges from around $1000 to about $1800. It depends on condition, cosmetics, the model, the era, and where you're trying to sell it. _________________ LA Benge 3X Bb Trumpet

If San Antonio is anything like Houston, selling a Bach Strad 37 should be relatively easy, whether it’s a lightweight star bell or not. In Houston, the 37 and Yamaha Xenos are what’s recommended to most students by their band directors, and are what the Music And Arts stores stock and recommend to kids. Check your local Craigslist, you should see lots of them for sale by parents whose kids quit playing.

That's what I've been playing for the last 7 or 8 years. I'm pretty sure Laurie Frink played a 37* for much of her career. _________________ Bach trumpet artist-clinician
