Is it true that Chicowicz would have his students use an alto horn mouthpiece when they were undergoing an embouchure change? If so, how did he do it?
Switch to alto horn mouthpiece only for two weeks?
Switch back and forth between alto horn and regular trumpet mouthpiece in the same practice session?
Somewhere in between?
Anyone have any direct knowledge about this?
