I did get an email back from Marcinkiewicz. There are no flugels available anywhere with any of their dealers (worldwide). That pretty much wraps up that one.

I spent 8 years looking for mine, and only got them through connections.

An earlier post compared the Marc to the Getzen 4V. I had one of those for a number of years and don't find any similarities at all, even though the bores (on paper) seem similar. The Getzen, though fun to play, had a somewhat 'trombonish' sound, while the Marc does not. It doesn't blow like a 631 or 831, but it's closer than other large bore flugels I've played.
As for intonation ... that's up to the player.

Check his horns out, Martin would be able to build you one, whatever you want. Recently visited his shop, great horn and greatnguy, too. Speaks English as well
