Another new year, and so far, no new news from Torpedo bags on the status of their re-imagined Coyote case. Anyone out there have any news about this?

The last update from Steve and company was last November, with a promise of production starting in the new year (along with the Velox).

Seems like when you email, all you get are crickets in response from these folks. Kinda frustrating.

I spoke to Steve today at the Torpedo Bag table. He explain that the current status is trying to finalizing a supplier for the carbon shells for the Velox and future Coyote case after running into obstacles of complete everything in house and trying to get reasonable quotes from some carbon fiber suppliers. He explain more in person but I don't think it is my place to speak for his company in detail and I do not want to misquote him.

What is so frustrating, is that it is "wash rinse & repeat". Because his response to you was pretty much what was stated many times before.

I like his product. So much so, that I pre-ordered the new Coyote
back in 2017. Very frustrating.

Totally get it. I have never much been an earlier adopter for things. I prefer to see and know what it is like before shelling out money. And obvious that would give a more concrete time frame of receiving said item.

I also understand he is a small business with obstacles. I am not saying that he is handling it the best way but it hard to put out a product that is price within market means, try to do made in USA as much as possible, and have it be high quality.

As the automotive world says, Fast, Cheap, Reliable. You may own pick two. In this case, fast is not a choice...
