You can edit (and perhaps delete) YOUR posts, but if other people have made posts in the thread you likely cannot remove or change theirs.

Perhaps user 'trumpetherald' could delete the entire thread if deemed appropriate.

Or . . you can just edit out your comments and replace them with a couple periods or a phrase like "never mind".

I thought he wanted to remove a thread, not just a post.

There have been some people in the past who have triggered, and then added to, shoot storms and then have wanted to remove complete threads. There are ways to do this and a few have figured out just the right way to offend the mods and get the thread pulled. Not cool in my opinion.

Unless the Moderator removes the post altogether I found it best just to edit the Post Topic to "Deleted" and remove my comments on the post. The comments of others cant be removed but this should do the trick. Thanks for your help guys.

I guess I was fooled when I read “how can I remove a thread”.

It is a thread created by the op bringing the forum’s attention to what appeared at the time to be questionable horn purchase and return. I found it by checking the op’s post history.

It is of course not my call but I think knowing the whole story, including the final bit on why the op now wants to remove it, benefits the community. It might make it easier for the next buyer to resolve or at least not misunderstand the seller.

I leave it up to the wise and omniscient moderators. (Me bowing and leaving the stage)

There wasn't any resolution described on the thread. The OP wanted it gone, so it has been removed. Sorry for any confusion.

Sorry my post wasn’t clear. I assume that he has resolved the issue since he decided to retract the thread. I was hoping that he would add what lead to that decision to the thread.
